GC Homebrewers
Click here for the GC Homebrewers SiteGLOUCESTER COUNTY HOMEBREWERS began in 1992 about the same time Dr Barley & Mr Hops were considering their enterprise. These were 6 folks who also wanted to share their craft with others. Their appointed spokesperson, and subsequent president, Paul Kennedy, approached us and asked if they could call us home. Thus began a beautiful union of energy and opportunity.

The Club has been as large as 70 members, meeting monthly at varying locations. Homebrewed beer is the common denominator among this group of folks as varied as their beers. All levels of experience are represented from the novice to the professional, from the stove-top to the 3 story home brewery. We are non-competitive, very social and very supportive of new brewers. Nobody should feel bashful.

Monthly meetings may have an educational topic on different aspects of brewing, involve a club wide competition, highlight different beer styles, or be purely social. Over the years local professional brewers have been featured speakers, and trips to local breweries have been held. We also hold special annual events such as the Summer Chili meeting, Fall Campout, Christmas Dinner and Spring's Homebrew Day, our massive brewing event.

Dues are $25 per year, payable each January. This covers our meeting costs, communications and part of our special events. And you are asked to bring a 6 pack of your homebrew along to share. Dues also entitle members an in-store discount of 10% on most brewing ingredients. Inquire at Beercrafters for meeting information.
